This classic cake which is named after Queen Victoria is a tradition for the British and Irish. And what other way to celebrate the tradition than with slices of fresh fruits and a spiral pink buttercream? This strawberry and cream butter cake makes a really lovely engagement/wedding cake too if we say so ourselves.

The cake came in a transparent box with red ribbon which looks really beautiful and glorious. The cake is moist and flavourful. I love the fact that the buttercream is not too thick and it just adds a little bit rasa lemak masin to the cake. I think the cake taste better when it is at room temperature rather than freshly out of fridge. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
